Jovana Stevic
Jovana Stevic is a Serbian actress, cultural producer, and international platform founder. She is the co-founder and managing director of the Japanese-Serbian Film Festival (JSFF) and, since 2016, the president of Cultcrave, an association dedicated to art, culture, and international cultural exchange.
Before focusing on acting, Jovana worked extensively in television as an author, host, and production assistant for national broadcasters. In 2013, she began her acting career with the acclaimed Serbian project Montevideo, Taste of a Dream (Montevideo, Bog te video!), directed by Dragan Bjelogrlic.
She has since portrayed a wide range of characters in film and television, from drama to comedy. Her long-running role as journalist Danica in the hit TV series ‘Ubice mog oca’ (known internationally as Legacy), in which she appeared throughout all seven seasons, brought her significant professional recognition and strong audience visibility.
Alongside her acting career, Jovana has developed a strong presence in cultural production and international collaboration, bridging film, live arts, and global platforms. She holds two bachelor’s degrees in Acting and Mass Media Management, and is a member of both the Drama Artists’ Association of Serbia and the European Film Academy (EFA).
