Born in Chicago Coltons Mom dropped out of art school to raise him. His Dad is a construction worker. Colton moved to Mexico at the age of 13 where he learned Spanish and kitesurfing. He finished High school in the US and was convinced by his then stepdad to do theatre to heal from childhood trauma. Colton got his BFA in Acting at the University of Illinois where he trained under Robert Anderson and Tony award director Daniel Sullivan. He then moved back to Chicago and trained on camera acting with Emmy award casting director AJ Links. While Acting in TV/Film and Theatre, he also has caddied at Lake Shore Country Club and Bel Air Country Club in LA.
