Kara Durrett
Kara Durrett is the President and Head of Film & TV for Pinky Promise. Past accolades include Variety's 2024 New Leaders, Sundance Film Festivals Producers Fiction Award, Janet Pierson SXSW Producing Award, a nominee for the Independent Spirit Piaget Award, and a Sundance Producing Lab Fellow.
Kara's recent films include Producing Scarlett Johansson's directorial debut Eleanor The Great set to release Fall 2025 with Sony Classic and TriStar, and David Craig and Brian Crano's I Don't Understand You, set to release June 2025. As an Executive Producer she's worked on Gia Coppala's The Last Showgirl, which received 2 golden globe nominations, as well as Andrea Arnold's Bird which premiered at Cannes 2024 and has earned a BAFTA nomination.
Past films include Caddo Lake, produced alongside M Night Shyamalan released by MAX, The Starling Girl, If You Were The Last, Honk For Jesus, Save Your Soul, Topside, Save Yourselves!, Ayar and many others. She currently resides in LA/NY.
