Aston Barrett Jr., son of Aston "Familyman" Barrett and nephew of Carlton "Carly" Barrett, was born on October 20, 1990 in Kingston, Jamaica. He is the band leader for The Wailers (1969-) and is making his acting debut as Aston "Familyman" Barrett in Bob Marley: One Love. Continuing his father's legacy, he travels the world playing legendary hits from the band and recording new music including Grammy nominated One World produced by Emilio Estefan.
