Angel Soto Castelo is a Mexican-American actor born in San Diego, California to parents from Sinaloa, Mexico. He started acting at the age of 14 with his lead role of "Manny" in the short film La Carnada (2014), which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival and was nominated for best narrative short. He is known for playing the role of "Lupillo Rivera" in the biopic of late Mexican-American singer Jenni Rivera, Jenni (2024).
