Cindy Chupack

Cindy Chupack is best known as a Writer/Executive Producer of Sex and the City, where several episodes she penned (Evolution, Attack of the 5'10" Woman, Just Say Yes, Plus One is the Loneliest Number, I Love a Charade, and Splat!) were individually nominated for Writer's Guild and Emmy awards. In 2018 she directed her first episode of television (I'm Dying Up Here: Now You See Me, Now You Don't), and her first feature, Otherhood, starring Angela Bassett, Felicity Huffman, and Patricia Arquette, which was released on Netflix August 2, 2019. Chupack grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma and received a journalism degree from Northwestern University. She is the author of New York Times bestseller "The Between Boyfriends Book: A Collection of Cautiously Hopeful Essays," Chupack has written comic essays about dating and relationships for many magazines including Glamour and O, The Oprah Magazine (where she had her own columns). Her comic memoir about marriage and a baby quest, "The Longest Date: Life as a Wife," was published by Viking in February 2014.
